film review - snakes on a plane
Snakes On A Plane - Rating: 15
This film was a beast! the film started well and finished even better! it didnt take long for the film to get going and they waste no time in showing a gruesome killing. the opening scene shows gangster Eddie Kim (Bryon Lawson) violently killing a business man with a baseball bat whilst Sean Jones (Nathan Phillips) watches in horror. Neville Flyn (Samuel L.Jackson) is the FBI agent who asks Sean to travel back to LA with him to testify against Eddie Kim in a higly-publicised case. However Kim has other ideas and arranges for time-realease crates full of higly poisonous snakes to be loaded onto the plane. the passengers leis have been sprayed with pheromones to make the snakes more aggressive in an attempt to bring down the plane.
The rest of the film shows how the snakes savagely kill many unfortunate passengers and poison many others. Neville and the rest of the survivors must fight against the snakes in order to keep the plane in the air and land safely to get medical attention on the ground.
This film contains so many bloody and gruesome scenes, many of which will make you cringe at the very thought of it. its not a film for the faint hearted or those about to fly across America! the non-stop action is wiked and the graphical scenes were very creative. the special effects were superb and when combined with a great story line and interesting characters they make a top-notch movie for those with a strong stomach for gore!
